Hello, First Christian Church Family!

Luke 1:30, 31
v 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
v 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His
name JESUS.”

What a beautiful and spirit filled month of November we just experienced. Celebrating the
Thanksgiving holiday and sharing our blessings with others in need.

Mike “The Hitman” Easler, former Pirate and 1979 World Series Champion, shared a
weekend with us. The Mike Easler event on Saturday, November 17th, was a HUGE
SUCCESS! Reverend Easler blessed us the next day from the pulpit with a wonderful
message.

CAMA, through First Christian Church, served 690 dinners on Thanksgiving Day! Many
people rolled up their sleeves to help make this happen.

As Disciples of Christ, God’s desire is to fill us as HIS people with HIS Spirit. This is one
way others will recognize HIS powerful presence in us. Christ’s presence ought to be so
evident in your life and my life that people are drawn to us.

Luke 2:13, 14
v13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God
and saying:
v14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

May God’s Peace be with you this holiday season and ALWAYS!
